Summer Camp Registration: registration is available online and at the Summit on the Park; March 6, 2021 at 10:00am.
Is the Summer Camp that you were interested in registering for already full? We encourage you to add your name to the waitlist for any and all weeks that you are still interested in being considered for. Participants will be called from these lists as cancellations happen and vacancies become available.
Important Camp Requirement - Health Appraisal: All participants registered for one of Canton’s State-Licensed Day Camps, which include: Camp Canton, Camp A.B.L.E., Camp Leisure Club, and the B.L.O.C.K. Stay-Cation, will be required to submit a current year Health Appraisal Form to the Summit on the Park at least 30 days prior to the start of Camp.
- Print off a Camp Health Appraisal Form (PDF). If you would like the form made available to you in an alternative format (email, large print, audible, braille, or other), please contact the Recreation Supervisor at 734/394-5460 or by email.
Camp Withdrawal Form: If you are unable to attend summer camp please refer to the Camp Withdrawal Form for the guidelines to remove your child from camp. All forms must be completed by the participant’s parent or guardian and submitted to the Summit on the Park front desk or emailed to the summer camp supervisor. If you have any questions please call 734/394-5460. Canton Activity Crew (CAC) is a drop-in supervised playground program for children ages 5 - 15 years. Days at CAC include, themed activities, sports, games, crafts, and so much fun all summer long!
Children must be 5 years old as of the first day of camp to participate in Canton Activity Crew, no exceptions will be made.
Due to COVID-19 and for the safety of your child and staff, the number of participants at each site is limited to 35. Additional safety protocols will be emailed prior to the start of camp.
2021 FEES
NEW THIS YEAR:
- Register by the week! A non-refundable $10 per week for AM or PM session or $20 per week for both sessions. (Second child discount of $8 per week for AM or PM session if children are registered for the same week.)
- There will be NO ONSITE REGISTRATION. YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE.

Camp A.B.L.E. (Achieve, Believe, Learn, Experience)
- Ages: 8 to 14 years
- When: 2021 Dates TBA
- Location: Cherry Hill School
- Who: Youth with developmental, emotional, cognitive, or physical disabilities
- What: A traditional summer camp experience is mirrored and adapted for participants to encourage fun, socialization, the development of motor skills, and more.

Camp Leisure Club

- What: A traditional summer camp experience is mirrored and adapted for participants to encourage fun, socialization, the development of motor skills, and more.

BLOCK SUmmer CAmp
The B.L.O.C.K. Summer Stay-cation camp is open for youth ages 11-17 yrs. Each week we will have excursions, daily activities, and plenty of time to hang out with friends. Summer long membership, weekly membership options available.

Camp Canton
Ages: 5 to 10
Location: Summit on the Park Dance Studios A/B/C
Camp Canton is a week-long day camp experience licensed by the State of Michigan. Activity-filled days keep us busy with sports, crafts, swimming, theme days, guest speakers, and an "off-site" field trip every Thursday.
Campers must bring a lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, and towel everyday. Tennis shoes are also necessary to maximize participant involvement in everything that Camp Canton has to offer. Our highly trained staff is certified in CPR and First Aid. Staff to Camper Ratios are 1:6. For additional information please visit the Camp Canton web page.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
If the Plymouth/Canton School District closes due to inclement weather during the school year (typically due to winter weather conditions), all Leisure Services Department programs/classes held prior to 4:00 p.m. will be canceled. For Leisure Services programs/classes that begin after 4:00 p.m. a determination to cancel will be made no later than 2:00 p.m. that day.
